cewas Middle East’s entrepreneurship programme in Jordan started in April 2017 with a 3-days Water and Business Challenge for entrepreneurs and professionals with a strong motivation to create environmental solutions for the water, sanitation and waste sector.
Since the Water and Business Challenge 2017, 20 start-ups have taken part in the year-long Start-up Programme 2017/18. During the course, entrepreneurs have been trained and supported in the formation of their business or project with advanced training modules, business coaching and consulting by sector experts and an extensive regional and international network.
While coaching and networking of the start-ups will continue throughout 2018, the Water Entrepreneurship Program has started in cooperation with Shamal Start in Irbid, where the startups have been working on their business and work plans since March 2018.
