Our activities in Jordan

cewas Middle East’s entrepreneurship programme in Jordan started in April 2017 with a 3-days Water and Business Challenge for entrepreneurs and professionals with a strong motivation to create environmental solutions for the water, sanitation and waste sector.

15 start-ups participated in the Water and Business Challenge and selected participants will take part in the year-long Start-up Programme. During the course, entrepreneurs are trained and supported in the formation of their business or project with advanced training modules, business coaching and consulting by sector experts and an extensive regional and international network.

Few additional places are still available in the 2017/18 Start-up Programme!

Objective:

Define your winning water and sanitation business model

Description:

Module 1 will help you transform your idea into a concrete business model. Using the business model canvas, you will identify your value proposition, test it on different customers, redefine it and pitch your business idea during a mentor event.

27 September - 1 October 2017

4 Training Days, Amman

Objective:

Develop the right marketing mix to sell your idea

Description:

Throughout this hands-on module you will design a marketing mix that allows you to turn your water and sanitation idea into a feasible solution. You will learn how to attract customers, prioritizing price, product, place and promotion.

19 - 22 October 2017

4 Training Days, Amman

Objective:

Prepare your launch: from finances, operations and documentation to the full fledged business plan

Description

Building on the information gathered in Module 1 and 2, this Module provides a concise introduction to the key elements of a comprehensive and convincing business plan. In addition, the content of the training sessions will focus on finances and financing.

May 2017 – April 2018

Coaching meetings are taking place once per month. Virtual coaching is offered at any time.

Receive ongoing practical support to launch your business

Description:

Expert coaches and mentors are there to help make businesses happen! Through individual coaching, they can provide practical advice, facilitate introductions and connect you to funding opportunities.
